.psychofagist. is the main stefano Ferrian band since autumn 2001. It’s an extreme/experimental project influenced by bands like Fantomas, Painkiller, The Locust, Mr.Bungle, Primus, Black Sabbath, Area and all the good music from every kind of genre.
Since 2001 the band released 1 promo cd, 3 split cd, 2 EP and 2 full lenght albums.
The band nucleus is formed by stefano Ferrian (guitars, sax, metak weevil, backing vocals), marcello Sarino (bass, vocals, effects) and Federico De Bernardi Di Valserra (drums).
On “The Optician Ep” and on the last full lenght album “Il Secondo Tragico” the band welcomed Luca T Mai [ZU - Ipecac Records], on baritone saxophone, as new official member of the band with which followed many concerts around Europe supporting the last band full lenght effort.
The band also collaborated or played live with musicians like;
