dEN002 stefano Ferrian’s dE-NOIZE “CH#02 Lophophora” _ 2nd chapter of the dE-NOIZE project this time based upon the Ghost Dance Movement and the subsequent Wounded Knee Creek Massacre by the US troops. An eclectic composition of over 30 minutes which gather improvisation, post rock, doom, progressive, avantgarde and electronic music.

dEN003 The Radiata 5tet “Aurelia Aurita” _ an interesting quintet born from the collaboration between Stefano Ferrian and Cecilia Quinteros a cello player based in Buenos Aires. Join forces in this album also Claudio Milano and Luca Pissavini, both winner of the Demetrio Stratos Prize with Nichelodeon, and Vito Emanuele Galante on Trumpet. Expect Avantgarde, Improvisation and some experiment in conduction of the higher level.

dEN004 Claudio Milano, Erna Franssens aka Kasjanoova “Adython” _ A great collaboration between the Claudio Milano’s vocals pirouettes and the Erna Franssens lyrics. It features the collaborations of Attila Faravelli, Alfonso Santimone (winner of the InSound contest as best electronic musician) and Stefano Ferrian. A unique blend of Dark Avantgarde and improvisation with instant sound treatment by Attila Faravelli on “L’Oracolo Di Delfi” and Alfonso Santimone on “Adython”. Liner notes by Arrington De Dionyso.

ADYTHON: is something that I had to deal with. I never recorded stuff like this in my whole life but I’m so happy I did. It’s an obscure dark/avantgarde project feat. Claudio Milano (voice), Alfonso Santimone (instant sound treatment), Attila Faravelli (instant sound treatment on track#01) and me on Tenor Saxophone.

the RADIATA 5tet: we’re working now on the packaging so everything’s gonna be fixed really soon for the release!

stefano Ferrian’s dE-NOIZE “CH#02 LOPHOPHORA”: is in the mixing process in these days. the second chapter is a travel in the Ghost Dance Movement world with a focus on the Wounded Knee Tree massacre by the US troops. the researches upon Lophophora = Peyote just bring me to this tragic event in the US history so I felt that I have to talk about that. this new album is really different from the previous one but that is what this project has to be.

all the above mentioned releases will be out through dEN Records and distribuited by Jazz Today Distribution. The release date will be announced as soon as possible.

Hello everyone. I’m just back from the .psychofagist. tour that touched such great countries like Czech Republic, Poland and Germany. it was a blast!!! so we wanna thanx every promoter, club and all the people that came to our gigs and party out with us. We hope to meet you on the road again really soon.

On the other hand the antigama/psychofagist “9 Psalms Of An Anti-Music To Come” split CD will be probably out on September through SUBORDINATE PRODS. We’re very sorry for the delay but we have had a lot of problems regarding it, but finally everything’s fixed.

Hello,

here I am with some updates regarding my projects but before that I just want to express my deepest and sincere affliction on what happen just few days ago in Japan. All my love and support goes to everyone, survivors and departed, in the earthquake and the subsequent Tsunami.

a couple weeks ago I recorded two brand new cds with two different and wonderful line-up. The first one consists in the Quinteros/Ferrian/Pissavini trio with Cecilia Quinteros (cello), Luca Pissavini (double bass) and me on tenor saxophone. The album will features 10 tracks between radical improvisation, contemporary music and original compositions. Right now we’re looking for a label interested in the releasing. I’ve just uploaded an advance track of this recording at www.myspace.com/denoizeproject (quinteros/ferrian/pissavini “intakt”)

The second one consists in a quintet feat Cecilia Quinteros (cello), Luca Pissavini (double bass), Vito Emanuele Galante (trumpet), Claudio Milano (vocals) and me on tenor saxophone.
This recording belongs to avantgarde, free improvisations and some experiment in conduction.

I’m really excited about the music produced by the above mentioned talented musicians.

I hope to release this first dE-NOIZE recording on early April. The release is postponed due to some problems with the packaging that we’ll be hopefully ready in a couple weeks. Expect weird music and an amazing packaging!!! The digital releasing will be curated by the Russian netlabel Clinical Archives. The album will be entirely downloadable on the label website for free. By the way the CD format will be available through dE-NOIZE Recs for just 5€…so I hope that many of you that will download it for free will take in consideration to buy the CD from me due to the fact that it’s really cheap.

2011 seems to be a busy year!!! here as follows some news about my activities;

>>> .psychofagist.
probably many of you out there already heard some rumors about a new release. I’m excited to announce that we’d already recorded some new stuff due to be released on SUBORDINATE Prods this spring. It’ll be a blasting split cd with the Polish Relapse Records recording artist ANTIGAMA. In fact this split will mark the both bands 10 years of activity. The track have been recorded at Go!Go!Sound Studio with our long time Sound Engineer Stefano Colli. Soon we’ll looking forward mixing all the stuff. Keep an eye wide open upon our website www.psychofagist.com and our profile at www.myspace.com/psychofagist for a studio report and maybe few advanced tracks.

in a couple of weeks or so I’ll finally give birth to the dE-NOIZE legacy. it is an ambitious solo project that will see multiple releases that will become a series in few years.
It’ll features a special packaging designed by a long time friend of mine Davide Soldarini, an amazing designer.

by the end of February I’ll be busy playing some gigs and recording with Cecilia Quinteros, an amazing Buenos Aires ‘cellist and composer. 4 gigs are already announced and probably a couple more will be announced soon.
this project operates in the field of European Improvisations with some original compositions. we’ll have some different guests at every concert…more details will be announced soon.
